Friction Groove Collective has been performing in Finland's capital region for the better part of a decade, playing a primarily afrobeat, jazz, and Latin cumbia influenced repertoire, with occasional added Near Eastern and North African flavours.
Join Our Monthly Jam Session at Cable Factory
Every first Friday of the month, we host a Groove and Afrobeat Jam Session at Cable Factory's Kahvibaari in Helsinki. All instruments and skill levels are welcome — come play, sing, or just enjoy the music with a drink. Entry is free.
